If the Brewers did make a last second deal for Schoop and Gausman, would Shaw be part of it?

Doesn’t make sense to me to pick up a body at a position that is already covered and with depth.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Could this mean the end of Hernan?

Sometimes a blockbuster trade surfaces just as the deadline passes...this Schoop smoke has the feel of being a precurser trade to incrementally improve the MLB club at 2B and free up a big time prospect in AA to be available to headline something we've assumed was extremely unlikely to happen.

Not saying this is what's happening here - but with how the Brewers seem to play so close to the vest there's a chance...

Trades often made right at the deadline take a bit of time to get reported...there are still a ton of names we haven't heard anything about that are all but certain to be part of this deadline flurry of activity.

Wouldnt it have to be Bundy and Schoop? Gausman already gone to the Braves, yeah?

Ortiz one of the pieces.

What is team control on him ?

Arbitration next year. FA 2020. Hiura delayed...?

Or they flip Schoop
