Sogard stinks. Really wish we had a different option there.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Side note: Bucks just drained a 3 at the buzzer to push game one into OT.

these guys are not used to be playing in winter conditions think thsat causing some health issues.

I've had discussions with coaches who are mlb fans regarding the number of injuries and weather related postponements early in each season. Would MLB and the players union ever consider starting ST later, push back opening day to 3rd week of April, and bring back the double header concept in the summer. Heck, even expand rosters for the first few weeks in order to preserve overall health and quality of the product.

Cain was known as a patient contact hitter before we came here. I guess "Brewer" has rubbed off on him. Everybody in this lineup tries to hit 5-run homers.

He's now walked 3 times today.

8 total for the year. Pretty good.

There are plenty of warm cities and cities with domes. It wouldn't be that hard to have a schedule that mostly avoids cold weather early in the season.

Come on Brewers, figure out a way to steal this series.

Like San Diego, Milwaukee, and St. Louis. Hasn't helped the Crew this year with injuries.. Must be just a fluke thing.

I'm sure Boston, New York, etc would be upset that they never have a true opening day.

I'm not saying never have an opening day in a cold weather city but rotate it so that there's only one or two a year. I'd think the owners would be in favor of it. I doubt the White Sox owners were excited about their two games that drew under 1,000 each last week.
