Leave Chacin in to hit, then pull him? Come on Stearns, if these guys are hurt, get them on the DL! Sick of playing short!

 

If its already to this point they need to just start putting guys on the DL if they anticipate a 5-6 day injury. They can't afford to be playing with a 23 man roster every day. You've got minor league depth and options like Phillips, Broxton, Nottingham, etc, use them and give your injured guys a full 10 days to heal up instead of this day to day crap.

 

Exactly! Enough of the waiting around for these guys to get better. That's why they instituted the 10-day DL. Going with one catcher is just stupid. Doesn't make any sense to hang on to all this depth and not utilize it.

I get that 40 degree weather isn’t nice to play in but these guys look like such babies.

 

As someone who played baseball at UW-Superior where 40 degrees is balmy for a spring game, I’d agree. I never saw a player for us wearing the face masks either.

I’m a UMD guy but my brother played at UWS. Grew up in Superior. These guys are babies.

Their bench is very short. Thames out already, Braun and Pina hurt.

Is Sogard the only “available” position player left on the bench today, or am I missing someone?

 

If Pina and Braun are both "unavailable".

That's a great bet. You should put money on any baseball game where you can get odds that good.

 

Just placed it live while Aguilar was batting, that's not what it was to start the game.
