We have too many outfielders, We have too many outfielders, We have too many outfielders, and that is what we might be down to? lol

I guess you can never have too many outfielders on your team after all.

If we can manage to leave town 8-8 and have the schedule lighten up a little I think we're in good shape. Been a tough stretch of Cards twice, Cubs and Mets. Today seems important with Chacin vs Syndegard tomorrow. Really could use a quality start from Chase.

Aside from the pitcher spot the Mets have the same exact lineup they had last night which made me think, have the Brewers gone two days in a row this season with the same lineup? I am pretty certain the answer is no, but not 100% sure.

I was going to say opening day and game 2 were, but Perez was in for Villar.

Current Brewers hitter haven’t had much previous experience against Harvey. Yelich (who is obviously still on the DL) has nearly half the at-bats versus the Dark Knight. The batters in tonght’s lineup are a combined 5-for-20 with a double, HR, 7 BB, and 6 SO against Harvey.

Sogard and Arcia, both 1 for 1 with a HR. That's funny to me.

Villar!

That’s a big hit for us. Get off to a good start.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Wow, I thought Shaw’s hit was going to be a no doubter home run and thought Villar’s home run was going to be well foul. Strange start, but I’ll take it!

Same here. I had no thoughts but "gone" on Shaw's and no thoughts but 'routine foul' on Villar's. Great start!

Jonathan Villar’s positive start had me wondering how Neil Walker has done so far: .188 AVG .209 SLG% .472 OPS

Hopefully Villar is able to keep up the positive play. As frustrating as he was two years ago, it was still more exciting than what we were dealing with.
