Tuning out for the night. Team wasn’t ready for a ballgame.

1) This umpire is garbage, as with most any night.

 

2) Hope it was worth trying to squeeze that one more inning out of Davies on a night when he clearly had nothing and you had a rested pen, Craig. You let this game get away.

Yeah, the 5th inning not going well with Davies back on the mound was about as predictable of an outcome as I can remember in a while. It was so obvious he didn’t have it tonight.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Now I'm even more annoyed about Davies senselessly being sent out in the 5th again. Everyone in the state of Wisconsin knew he couldn't locate worth a damn tonight and its not like his pitch count was low.

This is such an incredibly frustrating team to watch. I get that they have a winning record and that it's probably a result of recency bias that I feel the way I do but this has got to be some of the sloppiest baseball I have ever witnessed.

 

I would love if our pitchers just gave up a few hard hits and got hammered instead of walking in runs and throwing wild pitches. And when they do their job our defense commits errors or gives up infield hits at a ridiculous rate.

 

Our roster construction before the season had too many starting outfielders and due to injuries and interesting roster management we had to start Hernan Perez in LF and CF back to back days. And we came close to being down to only Ryan Braun being left as an OF after Santana and Cain ran into each other.

 

And our bullpen management.. why even have Davies hit in the 5th? Oh I know, it's because we came into the game with 2 bench players who aren't injured..

 

Come on Brewers, get your heads in the game!
