Looks like Heineman and Rojas switched back after just 1 day.

Catcher Tyler Heineman started three games in three days, Tuesday in AA at Mobile, Wednesday in AAA at New Orleans, Thursday in AA back in Mobile.

Young catcher Robie Rojas played in a game for Carolina on Sunday, was assigned to Colorado Springs on Monday, where he got to appear in a @DimTillard Dubsmash (think that was in the Springs, perhaps in New Orleans later in the week), was assigned to Biloxi in Mobile on Wednesday, and was back with the Sky Sox in New Orleans again as of Thursday.

With RHP Jorge Lopez now back with the Sky Sox, RHP Angel Ventura was shuttled to the Helena paper roster. Surely he remains with the club in terms of the travel taxi squad for now.

At Carolina, OF Rob Henry, who went from the Mudcats roster to the Helena paper roster yesterday, is back today. LHP Daniel Brown is placed on the Helena roster.

RHP Alec Asher, the recent waiver claim, clears waivers and is outrighted to the Sky Sox. He cannot elect free agency.

Is he a free agent after the year or rule 5 eligible?

This is Asher's 7th pro season. He'll be minor league free agent eligible this October.

Trent Grisham to the Biloxi DL

Adam McCalvy learned it was a sprained right ankle (tweet)

Additional detail via Todd Rosiak --

"Brewers farm director Tom Flanagan says that Biloxi OF Trent Grisham is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with what is actually a high right-ankle sprain. He suffered it while trying to avoid being hit by a pitch. Clint Coulter moved up from Class A Carolina to take Grisham's place."

From March 30th --

@BrewersPD announced the signing of RHP Alec Crawford today, and conserving energy for West Coast Brewer viewing, the easiest way to inform may be referring to my earlier tweet --

Newest Brewers farmhand RHP Alec Crawford (@acrawford09), 26, was Rockies' 25th round pick in 2014 out of U. of Minnesota. Released after two seasons, pitched indy ball in '16, and not at all last season, coaching instead. Seems @CarolinaMudcats likely?

Crawford had been in extended spring training, but now will head to Carolina.

LHP Cody Beckman is transferred from the Mudcats to Wisconsin.

RHP Luis Ortiz to the Biloxi DL with a mild hamstring strain - must be so frustrating to Brewers' training staff with this kid

RHP Wuilder Rodriguez activated from the Helena taxi squad to make Biloxi's Saturday start

RHP Braden Webb to Helena's roster from Carolina

LHP Daniel Brown to Carolina's roster

Most likely, Webb is still physically with Carolina in that taxi-squad type role.

Prior to today's game, newly-minted RHP Jose Cuas was placed on Wisconsin's temporary inactive list. OF Jay Feliciano was transferred from Helena to Wisconsin to take his place.

The temp inactive list is used for non-baseball leaves of absence, which could be personal or family related. The minimum stay on the list is 3 days. Typically players don't stay on the list much longer than that. It often isn't announced why a player is on the list. However, Jose's absence is a happy one - he's away due to becoming a father for the first time.

Please take two minutes to watch this video from Green Bay in 2014 on the then-Timber Rattler, from Compton, CA

AUDIO via the Shuck Dynasty Blog 2017: Chris Harris interviewed Davis on the final night of last season; Davis had just reached 50 steals, would finish with 52
