Was the plan to honestly give Suter 30 starts this year?

I honestly think he could start 30 times and have a 4.00 ERA at the end of it.

Can't agree with you there.

Suter could be pitching a 1-run gem right now, and it still wouldn't matter, because our vaunted offense can't get anything off horrible, over-the-hill Jon Lester. The starting pitching has been disappointing, but personally, the lack of consistent, sustained offense, given the moves this team made in the offseason, has been a bigger disappointment. Still too many guys swinging for the fences and rally-killing strikeouts. Hopefully the solid approaches brought by Yelich and Cain will eventually rub off on the rest of these guys, but so far, not so good.

The offense has had a couple bad games, the starting pitching has had one good game.

It's still opening week, yeah? Small sample size alert.

Yeah, I was referring to the notion that the offense had been a bigger disappointment. The context was "to this point". I've said a couple of times now in this thread that it's early and the pitching can turn around, but to this point it hasn't been good.

It annoys me how much Rock harps on how the calls off the corner have at least been consistent.

If an ump is calling pitches 3 inches off the corner consistently as strikes, he's still consistently wrong.

Save for the 9th inning rally in game 2 against the Padres, offense was bad 2 out of 3 games. Not good against the Cards. This offense is going to need to score more than 4 runs a game for this team to contend.

Do I get my Brewer fan card taken away because I flipped over to watch Jersey Shore for a few minutes? I must be really interested in train wrecks tonight.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

This season is over. The rebuild is over. It's time to trade Braun, Yelich, Cain and the rest of the club to Kansas City and start all over again with a new batch of 18 year olds. Craig Counsell should be immediately fired as manager and replaced with a younger more muscular youth.

Kidding for those not fluent in sarcasm. But seriously, our rotation sucks.
