Did not look like Villar was busting it down the line...

Thought the same thing. Looked like he pulled up just before reaching the base.

Is it a "cold" gun or his Hader down a few ticks tonight?

He was 94-96 which is pretty typical.

Wasn't paying super close attention but the highest I saw was 94 and a lot of 92 and 93.

He hit 95/96 quite a bit.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Kinda seems like that's his typical range and then with 2 strikes he goes back for a little extra and gets 95-96, which he did multiple times tonight so I think he was fine.

Almost like he had the wrong stride and had to kind of make a half-step to hit the bag. Just odd looking.

I just want to know that it wasn't a situation where he was standing there in the box for half a second thinking "Hey, that's gonna go foul", before realizing too late, "Oops, guess not, I better run."

Votto is a great guess. Id add Adrian Beltre as another gotta be close

Beltre actually only has a .340 career OBP

Hmm, surprised so low. I remember for Fantasy he was listed as the 300/30/100 consistency for so many seasons.

Nice AB by Thames!

Followed with Yelich hit 5 of 1100 5year career with Milw?

I don't think anyone is going to end up mad at what we have up for Yelich. And I'm ok if Brinson ends up good.

Diaz and Monte are the ones that killed me... I knew Brinson was gone, the other two I was hoping to hang onto.

Seems odd to use Aguilar for the pitcher instead of for Thames here

Why?

I was thinking you could use him for Thames and leave him for defense, assuming we never want Thames to face a lefty and seems like they are trying to rest Braun totally tonight. Could have used Pina to hit for the pitcher
