It's kind of crazy that the Brewers bullpen is so good that it's going to make it hard to get all of our great prospects a spot even though they deserve one.

The Rockies went out and spent over $100M to revamp their bullpen and are sitting on a 5.40 bullpen ERA.

Stearns spent about $8M on the bullpen guaranteed and we have the most bullpen fWAR in baseball.

In a few weeks our bullpen could be Knebel, Hader, Jeffress, Barnes, Albers, Logan, Jennings. Most wouldn't have expected that to be a super strong bullpen before the season started, but now it looks like the best bullpen in baseball.

Not only that, Stearns resisted the temptation to spend a ton in dollars, prospects, or both to add a rotation arm. Yes, it's early, but so far they're doing just fine and still have Nelson, Woodruff, Burnes, and Peralta in reserve.

I don't care what name is on the opponents chest. Just keep winning. #AllWinsMatter
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I'm trying to figure out if there's even room for Logan. Guerra is stunning people again. Woodruff Peralta Burnes are all making a case for the rotation and Ortiz isn't far off. Suter has proven to be a good long man and Williams is oozing with potential.

1-2 pen spots... williams suter logan

1 rotation spot... peralta burnes woodruff nelson.

Pitching is loaded.

I'm in my 40's so i've been watching the Brewers a long time and i can't recall the last time the team had so many worthy pitchers for the big league roster that there really isn't enough room for them. Man what a refreshing issue to have.

Just for kicks I checked out the starters for 1998. Paul Wagner and Rafael Roque started 18 games combined and had ERAs of 7.02 and 4.88 respectively.

The Brewers will win the first three against the Cubs and then be "rained" out on Sunday. The Cubs refuse to be a part of George Webb day.

Bandy and Santana both go yard this weekend. One will occur against Darvish, and Wilson Contreras will lecture the pitcher on the proper approach to getting MLB hitters out.

The Marlins just took 2 out of 3 games against the Dodgers in LA, including beating Kershaw last night. Even though the Brewers' winning streak has come against bad teams, these wins shouldn't be taken for granted! Go Brewers!!

Hasn't Betances made it a few times now?

Edit: Yeah, he's a four time all star. Andrew Miller has made it the last two years. I'd say odds are pretty good if Hader keeps this up.

And free burgers from George Webb's

I wanted to be 18-12 at the end of April. 16-11 puts that well within reach. This team is one win away from a guaranteed winning April after a 3-0 March. With the schedule featuring 14 games against the Cubs and Cards, that is pretty good.

Guerra-Quintana today and Chatwood-Davies tomorrow sounds like two Ws to me. Go Crew!

In the big picture heading into 2018 Guerra returning to his 2016 form while not critical, was something that would keep this rotation in the top half of the league until Nelson's return. He's doing just that. If Nelson comes back close to his 2017 form in the next 6-8 weeks, the should take off. But they need to add a middle infield bat before the deadline.

Brewers currently sporting the 3rd best ERA in the majors! Around 10th when looking at the various predictive metrics (FIP, cFIP/xFIP, DRA) but with a lot of GB pitchers, and a seemingly ever improving pitching staff, that could be off. There's also the fact that our #1 starter, closer and lefty specialist are on the DL and still doing this well.
