How this thread only has 29 pages is crazy!! 91 wins!!!!

A single Tuesday game thread in late September hit 45 pages!

No negativity allowed here, hence the lower page count

The only run the Cubs have seen the last two games is a Cole Hamels homer....if they lose today that sad struggling offense is set to face unhittable Trevor Williams. Going to be huge panic in Chi-Town with a loss today.

Although X-Rays were negative, Kris Bryant isn't expected to play today after taking a Chris Archer fastball off his wrist yesterday.

Haven’t seen much talk bout it but .280/.310/.390 with .700 OPS in 42 games since August 1st for Arcia. Not setting world on fire by any means but gives a lot of optimism for rest of this season & next year. With his defense. .280 hotter & .700 OPS holds a ton of value!

We don't have to worry about the Cardinals not having something to play for. Knocking the Cubs out of first place would be a way to salvage some of the season for them. There is serious hate there

The Dodgers losing to Arizona last night was huge, as it keeps the Cardinals one game down in the Wild Card hunt. They have everything to play for this weekend, at least in the first two games. If the Cards can take two, that would be huge!

The Brewers are winning out, so all it's going to take is one Cubs slip-up. I think the chances of the teams being tied for the division lead after tonight are very, very high.

At 93 wins with two games to play the Brewers are now guaranteed to finish with no worse than the second best record in the National League this season, with a chance to still tie or overtake the Cubs for the top record.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

I wish I knew exactly who to attribute this quote to, but on MLB Network they mentioned the best playoff teams are often the ones in which the older players are playing like they’re young guys again, and the younger players are playing like older veterans. Maybe this is silly, but I feel like that is a nice description of this Brewers team right now.
