Madison Bumgarner breaks pitching hand [Update: broken pinkie, out 6-8 weeks]

Just saw it reported on ESPN. Got hit with a comebacker.

 

Big blow to the Giants, but should help other NL teams.

 

Updated story says pinky which is probably the best possible spot. It originally just said hand. The pinky not overly involved in pitching but still listed as 6-8 weeks.

Samardzija has a shoulder strain too and will miss 10+ days. That rotation is just awful to start the season.
