New Primary Logo

Looks too much like Michigan's logo for me. Give me the current "new" one any day.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

^^THIS!!!!!!

I love that past, but I prefer looking ahead, not backwards. The M/barley logo is definitely very "now" yet also very classy and potentially iconic in a timeless sort of way.

I'd be all for just using the current logo.

I really get tired of the Friday night throwbacks EVERY week. This is a team moving forward.

We've got a very bright future; I really tire of the living in the past.

Many teams do a throwback jersey once a week now. It's not just a Brewer thing.

Logo debate WHOAA SOLVVD

Yes please.

I love and wear this hat all the time but continuously get “go blue” and other Michigan references shouted at me. As a Wisconsin fan it becomes rather annoying.

They need to do a modernization of that logo like the Astros and Blue Jays did with their old logos. I agree with a simple M like that being pretty boring and it does look like Michigan I certainly prefer it to whatever the current one is and the ball and glove logo.

I love that hat also, but I am a Michigan fan. I'm always wearing Michigan garb, so the Go Blue references are normal to me. My wife thinks its odd though.

I have always been a proponent of going back to the royal and yellow ball and glove logo and uniform as it just is the Brewers to me but I have to agree that the M and barley has become timeless to me as well. It is a very understated and underrated look in my opinion.

I also own this hat and get that a lot too. I have a flex fit version of this hat and they made the M font slightly thicker than it should be and it gives off the Michigan vibe more...I want to say the original hat from the early 70s had a thinner M more like the Braves and doesn't look like Michigan's logo as much.

Thanks! Though, I am looking for the dark blue/red hat with white M, not the blue and yellow M hat.

I have a soft spot for the green/blue MB logo. Probably because that was the logo when I became a baseball fan. It's not pretty but I think it gets way too much hate.

It gets that much hate because it’s horrid. I understand why someone growing up with the mid-90s teams may have done fond memories with it, but going to the Motre Bame logo from the best logo in sports history was an awful idea. It goes along with other poor decisions by Brewers upper management at that time, but still.

Yes, I believe I heard or read that the players decided to keep wearing the retros because of the good mojo they brought. I'm not sure if they decided as a team, though, or if the starting pitcher for each game decided to keep the mojo going.

It’s a pitchers decision at the end of the day...but I am sure they all talk and have input. For instance if they win Friday and the Saturday pitcher decides to keep it going the Sunday pitcher pretty much has to keep er going as a team decision.

I thought Davies was a big fan of the retros...I feel like he chooses them often.
