Is anyone else excited for the new Macgruber series on Peacock?

Very. Signed up for Peacock today just for this show and will probably cancel after one month. I've knocked off a few already today and it's exactly what you'd hope for, classic MacGruber. Essentially it's just another movie with a similar story but split into episodes. But the same constant humor is there.

Another MacGruber fan? Awesome. I have a few days off between Christmas and New Year’s and I’m hoping I can try Peacock and watch all 8 episodes during that time.

Big Sky wrapped up season 1 last night, its very good. But i did learn that Kelley is not producing season 2, so thats not a good sign.

My wife and I watched OUR final episode of Big Sky this week.

It was interesting when it started, but every episode this season has lead me to wonder why I'm still tuning in.

The last episode was the deal breaker.

Bye bye BIG SKY.

this run has been less than desirable. I haven't watched last nights episode yet.

It wasn't the last episode that made us quit watching, it was the entire season.

This is just the week that we said "NO MORE!"

We could have easily stopped watching weeks ago, but didn't.

Any "Chicago PD" or "Bluebloods" fans here?

Been watching both shows from the beginning.

Obviously, not as gritty as "The Wire" and "The Shield," but still good TV if you enjoy the cop shows...

Our family enjoys Bluebloods quite a bit and in many ways as a family drama where the family is reasonably healthy and not a dysfunctional wreck. We were big Numbers fans years ago and appreciated it for similar reasons.

Yes, very much so.

The conservative side in any character seems to be taboo this days on television as well. They never step up and say it, but you know where Frank and his Dad lie, and probably Danny...

Hawkeye is good, but pretty standard Disney fair. Good action, but semi-predictable story-line and an obvious hand-off from the "old heros" to the "new heros" for the next-gen of movies.

Unfortunately, unlike in the comics, actors will eventually show the effects of aging.

I liked Loki quite a bit, Hawkeye has been ok, and the villain reveal was interesting.

I just don't think the new, young characters are going to be interesting enough to keep people interested enough to spend money by the billions the way they have been for the last decade plus

I am honestly probably mostly out on Marvel until they start introducing X-Men. I will probably watch Guardians 3, have heard Spiderman was pretty good so maybe that, but I am burned out after Endgame.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Loki was really interesting because it was a very unique story. Hawkeye is fun, but predictable.

I guessed who the real villain was in the second episode. And after Black Widow, I guessed they would re-establish the Hawkeye-Widow tie again. I realize actors age, but I'd hope they would try something a little different for different dynamics. Its just like Star Wars ep 7-9 again... They have a chance to rebirth, but they chose to rehash instead.

Frankly, for Marvel, I like the individual character movies because they have a bit of depth (like learning more about Hawkeye's struggles and humanity; love of family, etc..) The Avengers just felt like you were bouncing from hero to hero to make sure everyone got their scene in. Big flash and special effects and less substance with endgame being the worst of it.

enjoying How To with John Wilson and Station 11 on HBO right now.

Watching season 2 of the Witcher atm. One thing that isn't a spoiler. In the world of The Witcher, it is absolute, always, 100% of the time, always, always, lightly snowing. It is never snowing heavily, and it is never not snowing. It is always, always, ALWAYS, lightly snowing. Amazing.

Might need to climb up on the roof & check the antenna?

one more episode left of dexter: new blood. It has been a very satisfying ending to the series (if this is it), compared to the final season of the showtime original.

Cannot wait for next week's show

“It’s going to be surprising, inevitable and it’s going to blow up the Internet. It is, I personally think, the best thing I’ve written,” he (showrunner Clyde Phillips) told the outlet. The end of Dexter: New Blood will definitely be shocking. Some fans believe that all the secrecy hints toward Dexter meeting his end.

Peacock has been my preferred streaming service of late, their British suspense / murder mysteries shows have been great; Mr Mercedes, The Capture, Vigil, and the Fall all were filmed on the other side of the Atlantic and are fantastic. Watching Departure now, so far so good (half way through season 1).

Season 1 of The Fall was great. I didn't watch past that though.

just finished the first half of the final season of Ozark. Doesn't seem to slow down. really good. now i have to wait to see how the series concludes. Julia Garner has become a star from this series and Jason Bateman is so good in his role of Marty Byrd.

Just finished season 12, the final season, of Big Bang Theory.

Great show, full of likeable characters.

I admit I liked the show better before everyone got married and kids started popping out of Bernadette, but still, a solid show for 12 years!

Rarely did I watch an episode that didn't make me laugh out loud at least one time. (usually multiple times)

I used to watch it when it was on the air, but it was hit and miss. I appreciated it a LOT more watching it all in order from seasons 1 -12.

My wife and I have been watching Young Sheldon since it started, and it's pretty good, but I feel it is running it's course...
