Been watching Resident Alien lately. It just finished its first season run on the SyFy Network. Kind of a Sci Fi "dramady" (think kind of a cross between X-Files and Fargo) but it is really funny.

Wife and I just started watching that recently. We aren't very far in, but we both think it's really funny.

Remember what Yoda said:

Finished Breaking Bad, watched El Camino (and liked it), now about halfway through S1 of BCS.... really, really good stuff.

And The Wire. Which means its all down hill when you're done with BCS, so slow down!

There is still OZ and NYPD Blue to watch, can't go wrong with either of those gems...

Another great show: Justified!

Yeah, it's been easy to binge 2/3 episodes a night for the past several months for obvious reasons. Still some significant stuff on my list like Six Feet Under, possibly Oz, maybe a Deadwood re-watch so that I can watch the 'finale movie' in the context of the rest of the show (and not with years in between to try and remember what had happened!).

So, still some good stuff out there.

I'm also intrigued by Nat Geo's Genius series- I liked the Einstein season 1, but has anyone watched this beyond that? I started the Antonio Banderas as Picasso season 2, and it seemed far more dull than the first season....

I really liked Succession on HBO.

I loved Justified a lot more than I thought I would. Ditto for The Americans and Ozark.

I really need to check out Ozarks, always here good things about it. Is that series done, or still going?

Still going, they're going to do at least one more season but who knows the timeframe now of when they can film.

They've started filming last November. It's gonna be split into two mini seasons of 7 episodes each. From what I've read best guess is the first mini season will come out at the end of this year.

Big Sky wrapped up season 1 last night, its very good. But i did learn that Kelley is not producing season 2, so thats not a good sign. Only other show that i have been watching is Mare of Eastown which is also very good.

Last Man Standing ends it run tomorrow which was really the last sitcom that i enjoyed on network TV.

Finished the Wire a couple weeks ago.

Excellent series, however, I was disappointed for many reasons with the final couple of episodes.

This is definately a series that I will revisit in a couple years.

On another note.

I have pretty much enjoyed most of the seasons of American Horror Story.

I didn't care for the one that was supposed to be a reality show, and now that I just watched Apocolypse. I'm adding that to the seasons I don't like.

Started out great, then it just became another edition of the Coven season.

My favorite season is Freakshow, by far.

Very fair to be disappointed with the ending, and in a lot of ways, the last season. Outstanding series, but the last season felt beneath the quality they did before that.

Yah, final season was easily the weakest in my opinion, but I did like the very end (was it a montage? It has been too long since I watched it) because I thought it worked well thematically for the show (take the rare wins where you can, but it doesn't stop the cycle from keeping on repeating).

The last season happened during the writers strike which is why it was shorter episode-wise as well as not as good as the other seasons.

Thanks for that reminder, as that context makes a lot of sense as to why the season was shorter and clunkier.

Interesting. I tried to watch some of LMS and found it really hard to watch. Jokes felt forced most of the time. Must just not be my type of show

I got into Last Man Standing in its 6th season because it had just started in syndication and we had a newborn at home. It was a good family comedy that had a nostalgic feel to it.

I still have a season and a half of LMS on our DVR. I just haven’t been able to get into the FOX re-boot. There were some cast changes and it just feels clunkier. I hope to finish it eventually.

Like most shows, it really hits its stride in Seasons 2-5.
