Hangs them up means retiring

I get a chuckle when players "retire" when it's been clear for a year that nobody wanted their services. It's like the old saying "they'll have to rip the shirt off me before I retire". Capuano's been shirtless a while.

I remember when my dad and I went down to Milwaukee to catch the brewers for my birthday, I remember him hitting a double in front of us in the LF bleachers. Per game logs looks like it was in 2005. I don't remember him giving up 6 runs though... but that was 12 years ago, hehe.

Funny, the thing I remember most is his one career HR.

Opposite field bomb into the Brewer bullpen at MP. Ueck was stunned, he didn't do his traditional HR call because he thought it was a routine fly off the bat and couldn't believe how the ball just kept carrying and carrying.
