HighHeat19 New Twitter Account

HighHeat19

I know some of you would still like to follow my info. I said I would not be on twitter but have decided to do so because a lot of people have kindly asked me to do so. There are a lot of fake accounts out there. So here is the real twitter account.

HighHeat19@HighHeat9Teen

I would also like to say Thank You to the moderators of Brewerfan.net for being supportive of my posts on here. However, they can't control everyone's comments. Therefore you will now find me at the address above. The real me anyways. I will still post on Brewerfan.net from time to time.

Thanks and Go Crew!!!

I’m a natural skeptic, but some people stooped quite low when it came to harassing you. Hopefully this new platform gives you more control over the trolls and whatnot.

I hope so, because I have no idea what I'm doing on there right now. Just be patient guys as I try to figure this Twitter stuff all out.

Already busted 2 fake HighHeat19's. That was fun!

Good luck on twitter! We work hard to make this place as nice as we can, even though some think we overdo it sometimes, it's certainly never personal, nor intentional. Twitter, on the other hand, is a dumpster fire on the titanic. Goodtimes. @Brewerworld is already excited about it.

Your best bet, just like on here, make a post and don’t stress the idiots who want to treat you poorly. Report what you want and don’t respond to those who want to drag you in the muck. Easier said than done but it’ll probably be a lot less trouble for you.

Dude is right. I can also tell you I broke a rumor once (Wheeler/Flores deal) and the bloggers went ape-****. There's a lot of jealousy there. Second, they think they're journalists - but I'm pretty sure none of them have ever broken a story. I may be wrong on that but I can say the majority of them haven't.

Analyzing Jon Heyman's or Ken Rosenthal's rumors is not journalism. I'm not sure they understand that.

You guys nailed it on the head. Excellent points and I'm adhering to this advice going forward. I was quick tempered and created some of these issues myself. I will also not be answering all those little nitpicky questions that seem to pop up all the time too.

Good idea. I do wonder if any of the Twitter imitators are posters here. The guy posting the Stroman stuff yesterday had your posting style down, but he got carried away trying to get people excited before finally coming clean. And even after he admitted he was a fraud, there were still people begging him for updates!

There's always going to be doubters and skeptics. Some of those people are going to be haters, because they let frustration combine with the fact that they really have no concept of how to treat people. What you're providing is a fun, harmless outlet in what has been a incredibly slow offseason. I hope you continue to use Twitter, and this forum, to supply your posts, whether they be rumors or your own personal opinions.

Of course they are. There's no way that would have spread as quickly.

I can say I noticed HighHeat19's careful style and then @BrewerWorlds cocky demeanor and it didn't match. Noticed it immediately.

Feel free to follow me @jordo2323 if you have any Twitter questions or anything. Glad to help.

I wondered if something like that would happen. It would make the most sense to create a new username here and not mention sources or anything. Just enjoy engaging in conversation about moves/the Crew.

Like I said with my buddies...it was fun to add to the speculation anyways. Anyone that believes or did not believe what he was saying has that right, but I just enjoyed having more Brewer conversations during the slow period.

it was only a matter of time. Brewers have a pretty savvy social media team, im sort of surprised it took this long for them to find out about this.

Also, I will take this as a sign Cobb is not going to be a Brewer, as he is living up to his bet

I've stayed clear of the whole controversy that is Mr. Heat. Now that it (appears) to be done, here's what I think. People spent waaaay too much energy supporting him or tearing him down. Did he have a source? Probably. How good of a source was it? Who knows. But I read his stuff, took it for what it's worth. No different than all the national rumor mongers who are right sometimes, wrong sometimes.

That said, I did find his drama queen act sort of amusing. "Some people are questioning me here, I'm done!!" "Ok, I'm back, I will give you people another chance." "Nope, now I'm gone for good again." The, the funniest part. He goes to Twitter because we all know there are no trolls on Twitter. It's like somehow he never heard of the internet. I'm shocked it ended this way. Shocked I tell you!

If he truly did have a source, I hope the source did not get in any trouble. At the same time, not sure how smart it was of the source to keep feeding him information.

I don't know HH personally. So, kind of hard to make any comments about his character. However, I did find the recent poll he made regarding himself (You believe me, you don't believe me, etc) a bit unnecessary.

I'm willing to bet that the team figured out who it was and pretty much said 'you'e gone if we see more of this.' They're not oblivious when things leak out. And are often very quiet in their handling of it.

I'm imagining a top-level counterintelligence sweep: parceling out information to different individuals within the organization, just to see which ones make it out to social media. (A 1-year potential deal with Arietta - a Boras client - seems sketchy to me.)

FWIW, I've always believed HH has some connection with the team, but probably not someone higher up; more like the type who would try to make themselves seem important by passing along "insider" information. At the same time, I think HH liked the attention that came with having a source...and got a bit too wrapped up in it (like the Twitter poll).

In any event, when he reads this, I wish him well.

My beef, or whatever you want to call it was that he was never really cracking a story but more so just floating out a few possible moves that may or may not happen. I get that maybe that is all his source really ever told him but if I ever had a source, and they allowed me to share information it would only be stuff that I knew were actually going to happen. In the beginning, it felt like this was happening but by the end, it was just a bunch of talking points and guesses. That is where it just got to be pretty annoying. Rant off.
