2018 Green Bay Packers Training Camp: Rodgers Extension Reportedly Done

They have the money available to go out and get anyone they want, but they aren't going to be crazy/stupid about it. The deals are going to be at their price. If you look at the huge dollars being thrown around today, it is from either from mismanaged teams (Bears) or desperate teams (Vikings).

I really don't see an issue with them grabbing Bradford. They will most likely draft a QB and this allows them not to toss that QB in the fire right away. They will hope for some good health and if they do, they'll have a pretty good QB. If it doesn't work out, it's a 1-year deal and they flush it for the next season.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

The Cardinals have pick #15. They will have to vault a few teams to get up high enough to get one of the big 4 QBs (Rosen, D'arnold, Allen, Mayfield).

Didn’t say it was, just how crazy the price a competent QB garners even in a flooded QB market.

Ed Dickson? We might as well go with what we have if that is our fallback.

Packers talking with Jimmy Graham today. Gonna cost big $$$ though. Looking at Ed Dickson as a fallback. Personally, I'm not real excited about either. I'd rather take a chance on a cheap deal with Eifert.

Agreed. This is the one guy I hoped wed stay away from. Guess it'll be cheer for JG time the next few years. At least they swooped in on someone they liked. (I like the idea of JG, but the age 25-27 version, not the old torn legs up version).

basically trading one past his prime perimeter pass catcher for another by cutting Jordy and signing Graham - however the Packers always seem to keep 18 wideouts on their roster and have really struggled to find consistent TE play. I always thought Graham was a terrible fit for what Seattle wanted to do offensively - Brees and Payton made him the star he was by playing towards his stengths as a matchup nightmare with a QB that could dissect a defense and innovative formations that put him at the advantage when the ball was snapped.

Here's hoping Rodgers & company found a guy who I feel is a better player now than Cook was 2 seasons ago.

What are the odds Nelson comes back on a better deal for the Pack? Can’t believe he would want to end the way he did or go elsewhere.

Zero. They wouldn't have cut him if they wanted him to come back. Also they wouldn't issue a press release wishing him well in his future endeavours if they planned on signing him for a lesser deal.

The #Packers have agreed to a one-year deal with free agent DE Mo Wilkerson, a source said.

Good signing. Make him earn some money.

This is why it pays to wait until all the FA's are signed before writing off an off-season.

So now everyone is going to get excited because we signed this years Bennett and a DL? Yup, so much more different.

And this is coming from someone who wasn't complaining about them not doing anything jus so that is straight.
