I’d like to see some of these “He is a liar” posts. Being skeptical and questioning him is not calling him a liar. Entirely different.

 

I'm new here so I'm not trying to tell any of you long time posters how to do this. I would note that there is a fair amount of ground between "he is a liar" and "being skeptical and questioning." I suspect you and a few others were a little closer to the former in some instances.

I disagree with your sentiment but feel free to point out the posts that did so.

I was skeptical and questioned him in a respectful way and respected people who didn’t. That’s my right on a forum and what it is all about.

 

I get it. I too expressed skepticism leading up to the Yelich deal, as nothing seemed to be happening there. But then when it went down, I truly believed he had a source, as he had more info on it before it happened than anyone out there.

 

Regarding your post this morning, though, basically calling his update last night a nothingburger, I would say it was pretty tame in comparison to some of the other skeptical posts, but it wasn't exactly super respectful, either. I thought there was some nice nuggets with some names that have been loosely speculated on in the past. I think people expecting him to break a transaction were asking for way, way too much.

I would just like to add that it is entirely possible to question a poster without resorting to snark. In fact, it's easy.
