Yup, it sucks. Tell Darvish to push, wipe, flush and skip washing his hands.

My question would be then that if the Brewers don't see themselves as a likely landing spot for Darvish, are they engaged on a pitcher like Cobb? I'm warming on him as a potential TOR starter. He doesn't have near the milage on his arm that a guy like Darvish or Arrieta has.

Yes., but they essentially are engaged with all the top starters. In the Brewer's view, everyone has a price. The key is that there is a preferred pecking order.

I'm good with signing Cobb and trading for Santana for Salazar.

Was a little busy last night and wasn’t here for the 9pm announcement. Glad to see I literally missed nothing.

And apparently I'm glad I missed you.

Ha! Apparently you have Twitter trolls imitating you as well. And it's also readily apparent that Adam McCalvy is following this tread. Hi Adam!

Well, I'm done. I don't need to get my source in trouble either. Too much crap to walkthrough especially from twitter. Recently as Mr. TPlush.

And it's a shame for all the non pricks out there.

And just for a parting gift......................."Chernoff" is all I have to say.

Goodbye folks.

Ok, so items are cooking with Toronto.

Will be interesting to see what is finalized.

Smooth

Absolutely nothing wrong with that comment.

Except for the use of literally. I agree that it is odd to be so offended by a rather tame statement. High Heat's comments are starting to be noticed quite a bit outside brewerfan.net though.

There has been chatter about a deal with Cleveland for a loooooong time now from multiple sources. So I'm not surprised.

HH19 has gotten a lot of notoriety recently especially from Brew Crew Ball and Adam McCalvy. I imagine the potential/possibility of sharing information would eventually reach back to his source/Brewers FO and cause for some consternation. While I don't doubt he/she has a source, I will reserve judgment as to the authenticity of what he/she has been fed given the immense amount of scrutiny it has received recently.

Regardless if it is authentic or not, it sure has been fun to read about the possibilities of things. Its unfortunate there are so many people on this board and others that look at such things with a cynical eye instead of enjoying the presence of rumors. In an amazingly slow offseason, even if HH19 has been making stuff up, it sure has been entertaining and that's what baseball is supposed to be.

The attacks on the authenticity is pretty weak stuff IMHO.

Furthermore, the cynicism and attacking of longtime posters on this board has become more and more prevalent. I came here a long time ago to post and share information with other passionate Brewer fans. Not to read others being mocked by perceived poor trade proposals or attacked because of a lack of understanding of new age stats. We all love the Brewers and are passionate about them winning the World Series. Please remember that.

I mean look we all appreciate what you do around here HH, it gives us something to be excited about in these cold winter months.

However, it's getting kind of old to have to stroke your ego every couple days because someone was mean to you. Or let alone doubted you. I mean you have to understand people would have reasonable doubt about the information you're giving right? Now people on twitter (who probably aren't even site members) make a parody account and you're going to leave again. We'd love for you to stay and continue to give some of us die hards something to hope for, but not at the risk of dividing the forum completely.

Sorry if this seems rude, because I do actually enjoy the content you've provided.

HH, were we one of the 4 teams in on Kinsler?

You mentioned Fulmer, and he's been my favorite target but I've seen little to no speculation. I imagine a trade for Kinsler AND Fulmer would have cost us at least what yelich cost +1, but sounds like all 4 suitors were on his no trade list. The GM said he didn't take the best offer, he took the only offer because Kinsler only wanted Anaheim.

Are Fulmer talks cold? Any idea how high that cost is?

I fail to see anything wrong with using the word literally, particularly because it's true. His comments are also getting widely mocked outside of brewerfan.net to.

Yea I've been thinking this is getting a little too much attention and eventually is going to be figured out by your friend that it's being leaked. Best not to burn any bridges. thanks for what you could provide.

I’ve have more thoughts on this that I will post if this thread isn’t locked before, but one thing:

It is ridiculous it isn’t okay to question HH19’s information etc. when every day on here we constantly nitpick and question rumors from people who’s jobs are to find inside info and we know 100% they are a legitimate person to get info from. We call out those rumors if they don’t make sense. If HH19 says something that is questionable or doesn’t make sense he better be ready for skepticism too.

If you want to believe everything he says and not question it, fine. If you trust him 100% no matter what, fine. I applaud you for doing what you want...I will do the same while respecting your opinion.
