The Brewers are 12-2 when Woodruff starts. 11 of those wins are by greater than 1.5. Some friends and I have been hammering games he starts with action on both game and run line. I just wish I had taken the adjusted run line last night (since they were dogs).

Not sure if anybody noticed but Illinois signed a sports betting bill into law, doesn't look like it will be available for a few months but soon should be able to bet on Brewers/Bucks/Packers etc. legally without having to go to a place like Vegas.

Sports betting opened in Iowa last week. For us on the Madison side of the state that's an easy drive to get involved. I'll probably make a trip before first week of college football and see how it all works/looks. Hoping it's as simple as in Vegas without any weird systems.

I don't see a date for when Illinois goes live yet for MKE folks.

FYI- I've done this a few times. It's just like Vegas in that they have tons of TVs and kind of a lounge area to watch. Have a window to go make your bets with a guy at the computer. Along with that, there's also around a dozen Kiosks where you can just put in money and make the bets yourself. This was at Diamond Jo, haven't been to the other. Seems there is a mobile way to do it as well, but my understanding is you need to be in state lines for it work so I'd assume it's GPS linked somehow.

10/15 on the year so far on the last two weekends, hopefully I don't crash too hard this weekend.

Throw in the Badgers and it seems like all Wisconsin teams would be a boon.

Yeah, but do you do alright betting on "your," teams? Betting on teams you root for and are emotionally invested in? I've lost way more than I've ever won better on in-state teams. Especially the Packers.

It's gonna be awhile. There's been zero movement.

I agree one should remove emotion from betting anything significant. I'm just saying that the last couple of weeks have gone well for the Wisconsin teams.

Managed another 4/5 weekend on college football. Only loss being Bama -24 1st half. Up 28-0 and gave up a TD with under a minute left to blow it, even just a FG and I'm ok. In general, I'd recommend these next year in September as well. Bet the mega favorite to just cover 1st half. This week the Bama went bad at the end. But OSU and Clemson hit easily. Previous weeks this has hit at a high rate too. Been good ones for me. The ones that would apply this week are UCF/UConn but with UCF not being a true blue blood IDK if I'll do it. The other is Bama but they're playing Ole Miss, not a true cupcake. So not sure if either of these really apply.

Threw out some random cheap teasers and parlays just for action on more games and hit 1/3 of those so I think I basically pushed on those.

Too bad Poto wasn't as friendly before the game yesterday. Not a ton is standing out to me as of now, was hoping OSU/NEB would be a smaller number than 17. Maybe Ravens over Browns.

I think the Packers are going to cover tomorrow. I rarely bet NFL, but I think I'm going to make an exception tomorrow.

Same. Most weeks I can find CFB ones I like easily (not that they always hit) but kind of struggling this week. But several NFL games stand out this week, including GB tomorrow. Bal line seems to be stretching out now so not sure on it. ATL at home is probably my 2nd one and if NE only stays at 7. Chiefs/Det over as well. I could see the logic in just riding Chiefs to cover too

Well glad I was responsible and didn't bet NFL other than GB, would've got crushed. Took a 4/6 on CFB and called it a weekend. 1st half mega favorites hit as well. Seems to be some good options on those this coming weekend too like ND, UW and a couple others.

Anybody here get in on the Brewers season wins over/under this year? Pretty sure it was 86.5 when the lines first came out.

Friend of mine did while in LV before the season. Had written it off a month ago, so a nice backdoor win. It wasn't anything substantial, like $50. Still, better than nothing and helps pay for the next flight out.

Nice. Their line seemed pretty on the nose. People that bet the under probably thought it was easy money until like the last two weeks of the season.

6-4 weekend on CFB. 0-1 NFL. Basically broke even and paid the rake.

I'm struggling on those NBAs. I think the only one I'd put my neck out on Knicks under. That was my lock of the year last year too and hit easily. This year though they did sign some competent players though.

Maybe Nuggets over, pretty much same team back that has proven strong in regular season.

ETA: Hindsight I think bulls under might be good

i locked in 22-1 odds on the packers before the season started. I'm having a hard time coming up with a better NFC option to make the superbowl. 49ers? Eagles? Maybe Saints if Brees comes back ok? Obviously even if they make it, they'll have to beat probably the Patriots...possibly the Chiefs. They certainly wouldn't be a favorite in either circumstance. I still feel good about locking in those odds. I've seen them fluctuate between 14 and 16 to 1 since
