the brewers have signed rhp erik davis to a minor league deal with an invitation to big league camp.

 

if davis is added to the brewers' 40-man roster, it appears that he has one minor league option remaining. if the brewers attempt to outright davis off the 40-man to the minor leagues, he has the right to refuse the minor league assignment and declare free agency.
