With Rodgers back, my hope is...

they don't abandon the run game. If anything, the run game should be much stronger now that safeties can't sit in the box without fear of a pass more than 10 yards from the LOS.

our CBs don't look like the end of last year. Randall is looking good. The rest look very green...

-They allow Williams to get 20+ carries still.

-Jordy Nelson becomes Jordy Nelson again.

-Aaron Rodgers gets the ball out of his hands and stays healthy.

they find a way to beat a solid Panther team Sunday and strike the fear of god into the rest of the NFC playoff field. If the Packers find a way into the playoffs, there are some eery similarities to the last year the won the Super Bowl as the #6 seed...

- likely top NFC seed (Eagles) is talented but untested in the playoffs, and their QB hasn't won yet on the big stage (2010 Falcons)

- likely #2 seed is an NFC north team in front of GB due to Packer injuries - they have a great defense and a decent offense with questionable QB play in a playoff setting (this year's Vikes and 2010's Bears are very similar, IMO)

- Packers team is largely healthy on offense with emerging young running backs, and a healthy/effective Rodgers could light it up with them on anyone.

To me the biggest difference between these two teams is this year's defense isn't solid - the 2010 defense was great at times, and they came through with big plays in the postseason. I think the potential is there for this year's D to play well and make plays, however I think the Packers would need to win a couple shootouts compared to 2010, when they basically won the super bowl by grabbing leads early and holding on to win playoff games sealed by defensive plays (Atlanta falcons demolishing aside in the 2010 playoffs)

Scores me 20 plus points for my fantasy football playoffs. I picked him up stashed him for 7 weeks or whatever, and my qb play is awful, so go Arod!

Ha, I also picked up Aaron Rodgers a while back and was hoarding QBs. When I picked him up I had Brees/Prescott already. I now have Prescott/Rivers/Rodgers. Basically hoarded QBs and the person I play in the semis is stuck with Mariota.

I also picked him up. I had a first week playoff bye and now it's him or Cousins. Gotta go with ARod.

Not sure where to put this but. Other NFL teams are not happy how Rodgers was taken off and then put back on IR.

According to the NFL rules on IR Rodgers would have been injured again if he were to be placed on IR again or the Packers will have to release him once healthy again. I don't expect the NFL to force the Packers to do this but there is going to be something levied against the Packers for violating this unless the NFL provided an exception for the Packers to do this.

Going back on other rule violations it is possible the Packers could lose a draft pick or have to pay a fine. If Rodgers wants out of Green Bay he could use this to get released from the Packers and move on if he thinks the Packers are not supporting him kind of like what Favre did.

Never seen such a non story. The league approves the IR move. Rodgers definitely wasn’t healthy in the last game. If anything, remove him from IR and activate him for last game. Big whoop. Like one of the articles stated, teams do this at the end of the year but because it’s Rodgers, now it’s made a stink.
