Seriously? You are going to blame it on the defense? You expect Thames to make an over-the-shoulder catch halfway into right field? The sun is so tough that Phillips couldn't even pick up the ball, much less expect Santana to pick it up all the way into the right center warning track.

Sun is not an excuse, should have been caught. I didn't see Santana shielding the sun with his glove which is the fundamental play. Sunglasses do not work and relying on them is the lazy play. Not the first time this year Santana has lost one in the sun, yet continues to make the same mistakes.

[sarcasm]Fire Counsell!![/sarcasm] lol I’m just messing with ya.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

He had a long way to go to get it. Wasn't exactly hit right at him.

Its Major League Baseball, expectations are high. He has to catch that

If that’s the last we see of Barnes, we done guy. Hopefully he takes the next step next season and becomes dominant.

As fans, we have the luxury of looking ahead, but..I was thinking about it earlier, IF the brewers end up getting to a one game playoff vs the Rockies, who the hell pitches that game?? I want NO part of Suter or Woodruff in Colorado..obviously you'd like it to be Chase, but there is no way he could go again Monday right away..It won't be Davies either..Don't like how this is setting up.

I don't like the fact that we can't seem to score anymore. It feels like it's just a matter of time until the Cards tie or take the lead.

I get that vibe too...something crazy like Molina coming off the bench and walking them off
