2017-09-20: Brewers (Wilkerson) at Pirates (Brault) 6:05 PM CDT [Brewers lose, 6-4]

Disappointing outing for Wilkerson, but it's still a 1 run game. We have got to find a way to win this. The Rockies have lost and the Cubs are losing. We haven't gotten many of these opportunities lately to gain ground on both. We have got to seize it.

With that shift, Broxton should push a bunt and beat the first baseman

Just play Phillips.

They get themselves in good counts and it feels like they rarely do much with it.

Damnit Perez.

So disappointed with this offense. I think that's 4 leadoff men on board this game and not a single one has scored besides the HR by Aguilar.

We cannot continue to squander these chances. There is just too much at stake. Of all nights we absolutely have to get some offense going this IS the night.

Look...I know he doesn't have a lot of choices right now, but I seriously have to question CC's decision to give Wilkerson his first ML start in the middle of a pennant race. Why would you do that?? It's not like he's some flame throwing phenom...he's a 28 year old, that was working in a grocery store not that long ago. Now granted, neither has been very good, but at least Garza and Guerra have pitched in Major league games before, and Garza has pitched in big games. Not saying they would have done any better, but at this time of the year, in this situation(pennant race), as a manager, I'm going with the experience every time, and see what happens.

No win situation.....if he would have started Garza or Guerra and they would have gotten pounded you would have been ripping him for starting them.

Can we just stop, second guessing every decision?

Do I really see Torres up in the pen? For the love of...

Don't like it either, but Hader/Swarzak/Knebel can't pitch all these innings

I'll take anyone else but Torres. Yes even Garza.
