It looks like they start the year with 12 pitchers and I still think Williams is the odd man out. That would leave pen of Hader, Knebel, Albers, Barnes, Jeffress, Hoover, Drake and Woodruff temporarily. That will extend the decision on Aguilar. Let Williams close in CS for a few weeks until it becomes more clear who should be out. Hader, Albers, Jeffress and Hoover have been lights out all spring. Can't see how you can leave any of those guys off the opening day roster.

Drake had a good outing today, it's almost like people want him to fail. Hopefully he has a good season, if not they bring someone else up. Thats life in the bullpen.

Not really, he allowed 3 baserunners in 2 innings and is carrying a 2 WHIP so far, walking as much as he's striking out and has an .845 OPS against him. He's just been lucky.

I hope for the Brewers' sake he puts up a 2 ERA this year and dominates lefties. I just don't have a ton of faith.

Swarzek undergoing teats for the mets maybe its a good thing DS let him sign elsewhere

Undergoing teats?! What exactly are they running in NY these days?

I don't know but it seems like must see t.v.. First they sign Tebow and now this. Seems like they will do anything for ratings.

Do we think there will be a move made on Friday when Woodruff makes his first start? I'm starting to think they may just roll with a 7-man bullpen for now rather than risk losing Aguilar.

Personally I think I'd rather see Williams up in the pen and try to get Aguilar down to AAA now that we've got Choi as a backup at AAA already, it's not as big of a deal if we lose Aguilar to another team. Even if he does well somewhere else, now that Braun to 1B is going well and will likely be a part of his playing time for the rest of his contract, there's just no playing time to be had for Aguilar and he deserves a chance to stick somewhere else.

I guess we'll see what they do come Friday.

What was the udder option? Letting him milk a contract for all it's worth knowing that he is injured? I'd rather have Albers--clearly the cream of the middle reliever FA crop.

I'm laughing. Well done, Interwebs.

Per Adam McCalvy

One factor in Jacob Barnes’ poor spring: He was working on a curveball. Since putting that on the back burner, he’s been solid.

Call me crazy, but it’s almost as if we shouldn’t make too much of Spring Training performance.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Brady Hoover Williams and Lopez pitched today. Not that it prevents anything, but they pitched today.

Williams needs to be on a plane prior to the end of the double header

As did Guerra, Peralta and Diplan, if you're looking at guys on the 40-man. I imagine Williams will be up for sure, and maybe Hoover as well, even though that would force a tough active roster decision.

Pens staying remarkably low work for how many innings we've forced them to cover. They've stayed so clean that I think 12 arms should be fine. I mean even drakes been decent.

I am more focused on who grabs the 9th over having depth there at this point. Having Drake Williams Jeffress Albers Hader available tomorrow should do the trick. Could really use a good 5-6 from Woodruff.

I think the roster decision would be Knebel to the 60 day DL if Hoover brought up. May have to consider sending down Suter as well to get an extra arm.
