I'm impressed with the crowd participation in this one but I'm not impressed with selling 19K in tickets. That stadium should've had standing room only sold out in a pennant race and a gift of three home games that originally weren't theirs. What the hell are people busy doing up in Wisconsin anyways?!! Pack that place!

High school football.

Also it was announced that the field level would only be available, and they only started selling tickets to the 2nd deck later today. 19k is pretty good attendance for exclusively walk up ticket sales with only a couple days notice that there'd even be a game.

Also, friend of mine is listening on radio and he said Bob let it slip Braun's nursing the calf injury again. HE said it sounded like something he wasn't supposed to let out. I guess it could explain some. The last 3 weeks or so (pretty much since the hot streak and then being sat 3 of 4 days) he's looked as bad as he ever has at the plate.

Don't buy it. Not calling you a liar but he's been running just fine. Even stole a base the other day. Braun needs to stay within himself and swing at strikes. Trying to do too much and it's showing.

Don't shoot the messenger man, take it up with Bob.

What a hit by Walker, how about that one folks.

Completely agree... On short notice, I think Milwaukee did our state proud!!!

Don't underestimate the power of Friday Night Lights, high school football is HUGE in WI!

They didn't sell all the seats in the stadium, in fact they opened up extra seats because the ones they did make available sold out in under an hour. I mean geez, we are 10th in attendance in the smallest media market in baseball with a team that wasn't expected to compete.

What really sucks is the brewers have won 6 of 7 now, and can't get any freaking help from anyone else. Sure, they gained 3 games on the Cubs(doing it themselves), but winning 6-7 certainly deserves a better fate(gaining ground), then what the brewers have gotten out of it. It just sucks...they get hot, and it might not even matter.

Enjoy it man. This team is answering the call and it's far from over yet.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Back during the '07 and '08 seasons I was a Junior and Senior in high school playing high school football. Probably went to 15+ games sitting in cheap seats with buddies each year, but obviously could never watch on Friday night during late August, September, and even October. With all the games going on throughout the state and thousands attending most games, that's a lot of sports fans unavailable.

We have what should be significant pitching advantages the next two days and the Cubs should be at disadvantage both days. Sweep this weekend and have to think we'll be sitting OK. Sure would be nice if the Rox would lose a few though

Can't do anything about that, on the flip side, if the Brewers hadn't won that many games they'd be out of it by now.
