Rockies up 1-0 ......this Dodger slide is bizarre and couldn't have come at a worst time for us.

 

Well their slide is why we won 2 games against them. Would you rather have them dominating and sweep us?

Great to win, every win against the Cubs now isn't nice, it's completely necessary.

 

The bad news is that the offense continues to be completely lifeless. It's essentially become a 'have to keep them off the board' game for our pitching staff in the second half.

I'd give Aguilar a start tomorrow and see if he can add some thunder to the lineup.

 

Thames had one of our four hits. A double and scored a run to be exact. In a 2-0 ball game. The only reason he won't start is because they are facing a lefty.

They have pretty much tried everything to jumpstart the offense. Aguilar starting, Villar in CF. They could try something like batting the pitcher 8th, there's some merit to that but at this point there's not a lot that can be done. Either they get it going or they don't.
