It'll be fine. How many game threads have people complained when Villar is starting and then makes an out and you have to remind them how hot he's been. No one was screaming to get him out the lineup then. You're in a bang box park with a small OF. And your talks about to just put him elsewhere doesn't make up that there is no one competent offensively lefty hitter to play in CF. You do have competent people to play the other spots.

Broxton just put up a .794 OPS in August while playing gold-glove defense. What more do you want him to do?

This.

Makes a lot more sense to have Broxton out there and Villar at 2B to keep his bat in the line up.

Uhhh...Broxton has put up around an .800 OPS since returning and has among the best range among CFs in baseball.

It's kind of hilarious that you would make the 'you do have to have competent people to play the other spots' argument when Broxton has been easily better than Villar this season.

Story of the 2nd half right there. But instead will obsess over the 1 run botched on D.

Both make me sick...

No need to dwell on either one of them, together, the pair is sickening...

Villar has literally been the best hitter for a month, they're trying to ride the hot hand and he's lefty vs a RHP. I don't get how this is so hard to grasp why they've been trying it. They knew the risk, they're not stupid. It was a gamble, they knew, it lost tonight.

Hey buddy that third out there was by the guy who gave up the one run his Bat didn't really turn out did it

Hey buddy keep overreacting. He also already has a hit earlier in the game. So, if they play him at SS and he makes an error ya'll be freaking out then too. I'm not dumb, I know the risk, so did they. They're not dumb, they gambled and lost tonight. If you haven't noticed all year they're obsessed with getting lefties in vs hard throwing righties.
