Thanks for the podcasts guys, hopeful that linking here each night added to your listening audience. I know I found them very worthwhile.

Wisconsin Box Score

Jett Bandy was scheduled to play only seven innings; between Andrew Susac and Bandy in town as of late, it's been a break behind the plate for Mario Feliciano, so he DH'd here. Hopefully Bandy and Susac spent some time imparting wisdom to the T-Rat catchers during their stays.

Nice uniform, Lucas! Read about that first hit (extra base) at the link above.

My goodness, Nate Orf! Three more hits, including a double out of the three-hole in the lineup, and while you are at it, throw in an assist from right field.

Too bad we didn't get video of Lucas Erceg's AAA debut hit...

Final: Biloxi 5, Mobile 2

Stokes Jr, Shuckers roll to another win over BayBears

Troy Stokes Jr. has 20 homers and 29 stolen bases overall this season

Makes you realize that the playoffs were tantalizingly close --

"At 69-65 with three games remaining, the Shuckers will finish the 2017 season above the .500 mark. Though they won't make the playoffs, the Shuckers are just 0.5 games behind the Pensacola Blue Wahoos for the best overall record in the South Division."

More nuggets at the summary link above.

Final: Helena 4, Great Falls 0

Brewers Shutout Voyagers

Three pitchers combine for Brewers first shutout since 2015 as Helena splits season series with Great Falls

By Garrett Greene / Helena Brewers

Ejections: Helena Brewers Manager Nestor Corredor ejected by HP umpire Taylor Payne (4th)

Garrett discusses this in his game summary. Speaking of player development, how about Garrett's? Strong start to begin with, but this detailed summary is among several capping a strong end to the season. Have had a chance to sample his on-air work as well, nice, and if back for 2018, maybe has time to plan pursuing some on-air audio highlights or player interviews ;).

Helena Box Score

Jay Feliciano the first Brewer to reach double-digit HR's; Gabriel Garcia is just one away, and Garcia was on base three more times here and sports a .414 OBP.

20 HRs in a minor league season from a 21 year old is pretty good. Certainly enough that it invalidates concerns about height and projection. The power is playing in games against good competition and he is not getting help from his ballparks. Hopefully he continues to refine his game and can improve incrementally on the swing and miss part and he could be really good.

I consider him the best OF prospect in the system. I loved the walk rate and speed, and liked the doubles power, but now... I think he could go to the #2 spot on my next ballot, behind only Burnes, because he has upped his power production substantially.

Yes, Harrison's ceiling is higher, but Stokes is likely to make the majors and contribute, even if it's just in a Brady Clark role.
