Gio is pulling out his best statistical season at age 31. He threw against us (@WAS) a little over a month ago and threw 7 innings of 5 hit, 2 ER ball.

Here is to hoping we get the 2nd half version of Davies on the mound and the first half offense WITH Davies on the mound. Go Crew!

Well, Perez would have been out by a mile had the throw even been decent but it wasn't and hurray, a lead!

Very smart decision to go there...even if the odds were less than 50/50 of making it.

2 runs this inning simply because of poor infield defense.

Vogt is so awful throwing out runners. Seems like every throw is short hopped. That ball is in Perez' glove when Turner is about halfway to 3rd if Pina is in there. We really miss him.

He looked safe to me. I think the reason the review takes so long is that the replay crew feel that he's safe, but because he was called out they need more to overturn, so they kept looking.

But yeah, Santana should have stopped at second to begin with.

With all this talk about Davies win total, I wonder if he will get some Cy Young votes, something we struggle with as a franchise.

Can you name the only 4 Brewers who have ever received a single NL Cy Young vote?

Vuke.

Fingers

CC

Sheeters?

No on sheets. Has to be Higuera.

NL only, so Fingers and Vuke dont count. CC and Sheets are correct.

CC placed highest in Brewer NL Cy Young history, 5th place.

Oops. Misread the question.

Greinke?

Gallardo I think finished 7th in 2011 or something there abouts.
