The Cardinals have lost. In case anyone else is like me and tracking "distance ahead of St. Louis" as the prime measure of season success.

 

Yes! Finishing ahead of the Cards is goal #1. Playoffs is goal #2. And not just because I have a bet on it.

I have a similar bet with some Twins' fan friends. Of course, it's entirely possible that the Brewers finish with a better record, but the Twins are the team that makes the playoffs. The AL is a mess at the moment. A fun, crazy mess.
