Yamamoto... dude just keeps on trucking. Cue the "poor-man's Gallardo" comparison. Would love a first-hand scouting report.

Peralta with a short start, Ortiz and Williams out of the pen... I think it's just getting to the end of the season and perhaps the Brewers think that there is greater injury risk trying to go >5 innings than 3-4 at this point. And for Taylor Williams you chalk it up as a success, don't go more than an inning at this point, and continue to build arm strength over the winter.

Final: Arizona Royals 5, Arizona Brewers 3

Maryvale Box Score

A-Crew led 2-0 after four innings, but KC's Sunshine Band scored in each of the next four frames.

Notable because those first four innings were tossed by RHP Phil Bickford, smoking his AZL competition (3 H, 0 BB, 3 K's).

Eventful game for former Red Sox SS Yeison Coca, you'll see as you review the H, R, RBI, BB, SB, and oh no, error columns.

Undrafted catcher Brent Diaz continues to roll, 1.073 OPS in 15 Maryvale games, he had found the going tougher in Helena, but hardly hideous there (.686 OPS).

12th round 17-year-old OF Je'Von Ward continues to hold his head above water -- nice debut campaign, young man. A double here, look for more extra base knocks in subsequent seasons.
