He hasn't allowed a run in his last 6 outings.......... :laughing

There's no way that can be right.

 

You are correct, inherited runs are not charged to the new pitcher, but just on Saturday Barnes allowed a run in the 7th

Gonna lose two of three against Giants, another last place team we've struggled against. Wrap this season up this isn't a playoff team. Cubs running off Ws left and right vs last place teams. That's how it should be done.

Yep. What a wasted opportunity it would be for the Brewers to not give this special arm a chance at the rotation.

 

There's many scouts who don't believe he'll ever be a starter. It all depends what the Brewer scouts believe. If they don't believe irs going to happen, they may see it as a waste of time, resources and productivity to continue going forward with it right now.

 

I'm not opposed to trying. Obviously he's much more valuable if be can make it as a high end starter. But the Chris Sale projections are really optimistic. He's got a much higher probability of being a Miller than a Sale.

 

With this way of thinking we may never find the next elite arm. Not saying it's your line but the example you provided.

Here's why people often believe the game is over before it is:

 

This team has 1, count 'em, one single win this season when trailing after 7 innings. That is incredibly bad.

 

Yeah I went through this yesterday with a couple guys who were just looking for an argument. It's pretty hard to truly believe in this team when the stats over 75% of the season show they just don't have it in them to comeback very often or at all.

1 run in a game pitched by Matt Moore, where you had your chances. This team doesn't do the little thing needed to win,
