Please don't let Barnes pitch. Hughes and Drake in the 7th, Sawarzak in the 8th and Knebel closing.

 

Still need someone for the 6th now, and Drake doesn't inspire much confidence either unless there's a string of lefties coming up.

 

Not getting through this game without having to trust a guy we don't trust, unfortunately.

 

How much did the Rockies give up for Neshek again? I'm not saying we screwed up not getting him, but man would Neshek/Swarzak/Knebel ever be a game changer for this pen.

Neshek was there to be had. I don't hate on Barnes like a lot on here do but Neshek was there for Stearns and he whiffed. Could make the difference down the stretch not adding another competent pen arm.

Jesus, Coshun can't track a fly ball, mixes up players names and doesn't know the count half the time despite a TV screen right in front of him and a giant scoreboard in left field.

And mixes up names with players that haven't played in a quarter century.

What do you suggest CC do to cover 4 innings today? He can only use what is given to him. Take your beef up with Stearns who orchestrated this mess.
