No. You shouldn't be doubled up at first on a line drive hit to the SS playing a normal SS position. You freeze on a line drive, not run 3 steps and then get thrown out by 10 feet.

When you've proven yourself to be as much of a dunce on the bases as Villar has you'll never get the benefit of the doubt. And any half way competent runner doesn't get doubled up on that.

Super slow replay you can't tell when exactly Arcia got the tag on. He looked safe live to me. The umpire put himself in a pretty terrible spot to see it though. Then again the same guy (Jim Wolf) couldn't remember the count a couple nights ago.
