3 clunkers in a row for Garza, frickin pull him out of the rotation. this just in, we're in a pennant race. Is there any accountability when it comes to Garza or are the Brewers afraid he will quit on the team again if they send him to the pen. FFS

And replace him with...? Guerra? Jungmann? Espino? Blazek? All seem like options just as bad.

ANYBODY, go watch his last 3 games and stop yourself right before you start slashing your wrists. I would rather use the bullpen by committee. Hader should have started in Colorado tonight.

I actually have seen his last 3 starts. Apart from today he hasn't been horrible. Certainly better than the 4 I mentioned.

three starts in a row? Take a small breather man. If we overreacted over small smaples Jimmy Nelson would be in AAA.

Making a move just to make one is pointless.

Well, here's a larger sample size, Matt Garza now sports a 4.81 ERA on the season with a FIP and xFIP over 5, which any way you slice it is a well below average staring pitcher.

Actually, Jungmann has been very good as of late.

Jungmann and Wilkerson have both pitched very well this year......Jungmann especially encouraging after how he struggled at that level in the past.

I watched Garza's last 3 starts too......he has been bad.

I doubt they will make a change but I'd be ok with it......Garza isn't in future plans ......wouldn't mind seeing what somebody else can do.

Well, that's not a good start. We cannot afford a poor road trip at this point. If we put together a 2-7 west coast clunker, I think we can go ahead and start making off-season plans.

Last night wasn't much fun but the Rockies had only won 2 games this past week and we just won 4 straight so something had to give. Perhaps Woodruff won't leave the ball over the middle of the plate for them to knock over the wall like Garza did last night. SF is having a down year so we should be able to win that series if we play like we are capable of. If we can survive this trip close to .500 we'll be okay.

I'm predicting we go 2-7 on this road trip

I agree with this completely. Maybe we steal a third. A sweep at the hands of the Dodgers is a mortal lock. Hopefully we get two in SF. By the end of this road trip we'll be out of the playoff picture for good. But we also have to remember this is year two of the rebuilding process. If someone would've told me on Opening Day we'd still be in the playoff race in late August I would've laughed in their face.

As one of the biggest BA haters here, I don't mind that he's gone, but where is he? I know he did NBA playoffs and some golf and does national games but where is it tonight? Has he done even half of the televised Brewer games?

If BA is going to continue with this type of schedule, the Brewers should just cut him loose and bring in someone else.
