Totally agree. Just had a day off and another tomorrow. If we weren't contending, then whatever just keep healthy. But in this situation you have to push the envelope a bit. Or if he'd had a few bad games in a row or something, give a day to clear his head. He's been on fire and now will have only played one game in 4 days. Hope he stays hot on Friday. Maybe they'll make up for it by having him play Sunday even without a day off next Monday.

I'm at the game today. It has the feel of a Brewers loss already. No reason that in a pennant race that our best hitter should be on the bench with two off days this week.

Jimmy doesn't have it today. The offense has to wake up and start hitting to make a game of it. But Cole is a tough pitcher. Only one hit so far. I hope Braun is available to pinch hit if needed.
