2017 Wisconsin Football Thread

30 minutes and Hornibrook has led them to 0 points really. Defensive score and a gift wrapped drive that he basically does nothing with. Yes, the defense is struggling to tackle and cover, but FFS, I feel like I'm watching Brett Hundley led an offense out there.

I know it’s great to make it to Indy on basically a yearly basis but boy does it expose us each year. So disappointing.

Oh and this might not all be on Hornibrook but he is no good.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

This was the worry I had with a team that could spread the Badger d out and limit their blitz ability....Wisconsin's defense can't generate a pass rush, and osu has too much on the outside for everyone to cover. They are exposed to give up huge plays - barret missed a few more or this game would be over already

Stave's arm was MUCH stronger, but not as accurate. Horningbrook has a very weak arm for a college QB.

He wouldn't be all that bad if he would actually set his feet before throwing the ball. It is why when he throws it is always floating and sailing on his throws.

HorniBrook'd is right. And yes Stave had a worse arm.

Im calling Fake news on Barrett and surgery. Not one moment in this game has he looked like there is a problem with his legs.

Yes, Injury to Barrett's knee..

He is normally much faster with sharper cuts. Those that have watched him more often can see the difference. He is running/ cutting at about 75% in my estimation..

Lol to not as accurate considering Hornibrook isnt exactly the most accurate.

Maybe Stave was less accurate because in my opinion he has a weaker arm than Hornibrook.

Hornibrook looks horrible today. But accuracy-wise, Stave's worst days were worse. Hornibrook's best days were better. Stave had a NFL arm. Hornibrook doesn't.

Overall Stave had 2% less completion percentage than Hornibrook.

Here is Stave's NFL draft profile:

BOTTOM LINE Stave has size, a strong arm, loads of experience and plays in a run-first offense, yet he's produced 19 touchdowns and 22 interceptions over the last two seasons. For all the physical boxes he checks off, issues with accuracy and decision-making have been too present in his game and fans at Wisconsin let him know about it. Stave throws as pretty a pass as any quarterback in this draft, but very few quarterbacks have been able to overcome his weaknesses and become reliable NFL quarterbacks.

Any chance we go to coan if we hold them here?

Not sure if that will do anything. The offensive line is getting beat both in the running game and the passing game.

Davis is the only WR that has done anything. Taylor is getting killed because of no push by the offensive line. Fumagali has been shut down. Not sure what changing the QB will do here.

He's done better this drive, but before this drive I would have settled for a qb that can hit the rb on a screen and an open receiver down the field.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."
