Did Shaw send a dead cat in the mail to the umpires' association or something? Doesn't seem to get any close calls on strikes or swings his way.

 

Feels like it's been that way all year for him.

Have some utter patience. Keon Broxton looked the same way and wasn't even playing good defense.

 

Are you talking early last year? Because Broxton was great defensively in 2016.

Are you talking early last year? Because Broxton was great defensively in 2016.

 

No I am talking about this year. Bat was terrible minus one hot streak and the defense has been inconsistent. Some days he is playing well defensively and other days he is taking bad routes dropping balls.
