Peter Gammons Says Brewers Will Select Either Weeks/Young...

Tonight on Baseball Tonight Peter Gammons, when commenting on the Orioles' signing of Adam Loewen, said that the Milwaukee Brewers will use the #2 pick on either Rickie Weeks or Delmon Young...which ever player the Devil Rays pass on with the #1 pick.

 

What are all your thoughts on this information from Gammons. I've always liked his inside information and I hope he is correct this time because I desperately want one of those two players to be a Brewer...

I'm not even close to an expert, but from what I've heard here and anywhere else, what Gammons says is no new news. Wherever I read, Young and Weeks almost always seem to be the top two listed, with the possible wild card being Ryan Harvey.

About Gammons, I think he's fairly decent, but I often wonder how much "inside information" he really has.
