The Brewers had three players named to the Dominican Summer League All-Star team on Friday. Infielders Jean Carmona and Aaron Familia as well as outfielder Pablo Abreu were all selected to represent the National League. All three players come from the Brewers main DSL squad with nobody from their co-op team making the roster.

The rare Saturday off for the DSL'ers because of the All-Star Break. The All-Star Game is Sunday (AL vs. NL), and we'll have a link to it with updates on how the Brewers' trio did.

Corbin Burnes' pitching and Jacob Nottingham's 4 RBI power Shuckers to 6-1 win

Burnes, MiLB ERA leader, throws another gem

By Biloxi Shuckers

Corbin Burnes tosses 5 innings of one run ball

Biloxi Shuckers Box Score

Quick Summary:

It was a [sarcasm]rough day[/sarcasm] for Corbin Burnes who went five innings while striking out five and only giving up a single run. Burnes cruised for five innings on 66 pitches before being pulled in what appears to be the start of controlling his innings. As I have mentioned elsewhere the complete dominance this year is causing Burnes to rack up innings at a fast rate. It wouldn't be crazy at this point if they are controlling his innings to help in some roll this year's MLB team. While that theory is fun to think about it could also be a move to make sure he doesn't have to be shut down early. The offense was lead by a Jacob Nottingham three run shot and the bullpen helped seal the 6-1 lead.

Pitching Summary:

On the mound, Corbin Burnes (5.0 IP, 4 H, ER, 5 K) started the game while Nick Ramirez (3.0 IP, 2 H, K) and Jorge Lopez (1.0 IP, K) [rovided the relief.

Hitting Summary:

Wendell Rijo (2-4)

Dustin Houle (2-4, 2B, R)

Dustin DeMuth (1-2, R, RBI)

Harber tosses gem in 4-1 Carolina victory

Conor Harber started and took a no-hitter into the sixth on Saturday

By Carolina Mudcats | July 15, 2017 9:08 PM ET

http://www.milb.com/assets/images/0/7/4/242293074/cuts/16x9_Harber_4t1woajm_1enb868f.jpg

Conor Harber (6 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 3 K) started for the Mudcats and took a no-hitter until 2 outs in the 6th inning. He commanded the ball much better than I have seen him in the past. Mainly he threw 2 seam fastballs with an occasional changeup or curve ball thrown in. To me, it seemed like there was less run and more sink in his fastball today. That might be something he has been working on. Trey Supak (3 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 2 K) pitched the last 3 innings picking up his first save of the year. He gave up a home run with 2 outs in the ninth to allow the only run against the Mudcats in this game.

The Mudcats had only 6 hits in the game but 5 were in the 5th inning and proved to be all they needed. Monte Harrison (1-4, 2B) and Max McDowell (1-3, 2B) led off the 5th with back-to-back doubles to score the first run of the game. Trent Clark (1-4, SB) knocked in McDowell with a single. Jake Gatewood (1-3, BB) finished the inning with a two out, two run single. Troy Stokes Jr (1-3, BB, 2 SB) stole 2 bases and Trent Clark had one.

With Trent Clark batting, wild pitch by Tyler Ferguson, Max McDowell to 3rd.

Trent Clark singles on a line drive to center fielder Matt Lipka. Max McDowell scores.

Troy Stokes Jr. singles on a line drive to center fielder Matt Lipka. Trent Clark to 2nd.

Corey Ray flies out to left fielder Josh Altmann.

Wilson & the Rattlers Slam Lugnuts

Wisconsin wins fourth straight game with a win at Lansing

Weston Wilson launches a grand slam in the sixth inning at Cooley Law School Stadium to put the Timber Rattlers up 4-0 on the Lansing Lugnuts on Saturday night.

Rattlers now three games out of the final wild card spot, so at least they've put themselves in a position to challenge. Always a lot more fun with something to play for...

Wisconsin Box Score

Wes Wilson, as was anticipated upon his arrival from Carolina to get everyday at-bats, has settled into the cleanup spot nicely.

Wisconsin would normally break free of tandem games this far into a season, but as was the case with RHP Josh Pennington Friday, LHP Drake Owenby is also working back from extended time off, so nice work by Manager Matt Erickson in handling the 13-man staff as of late.

Final: Ogden 7, Helena 3

Brief write-up on this road game via the Helena Independent Record's site and also the Raptors did put a game summary together.

Helena Box Score

The three-game losing streak drops the H-Crew to 12-14, two games back of both Billings and Missoula in the first-half standings, with an elimination number of 11.

8th round RH starter Jayson Rose probably considers his outing a disappointment, but he did get to pitch not too far from his University of Utah, and likely had fans on site.

K.J. Harrison was 3-for-5 with an RBI as the DH; four others reached twice including three with two base hits apiece; the Crew stranded 13 despite an OK mark of 4-for-14 with RISP.

AZL Royals 6, AZL Brewers 4

AZL Brewers Boxscore

Brandon Woodruff's return was the biggest note on the night as the Brewers dropped their second in a row. He pitched two complete innings and to one batter in the third as well. AZL box scores do not keep track of pitches, so it's a guess, but perhaps his pitch count was in the 30-40 range.

Keston Hiura, Robie Rojas, and Robert Henry each had three hits, including a double for Henry and a triple for Hiura. Julio Mendez had the only other hit in the lineup, a single.

AZL Brewers Game Log

Woodruff's day:

AZL White Sox Top of the 1st

Logan Taylor lines out to first baseman Pat McInerney.

Alex Call grounds out, third baseman Nick Egnatuk to first baseman Pat McInerney.

Michael Hickman called out on strikes.

AZL White Sox Top of the 2nd

Evan Skoug singles on a line drive to right fielder Robert Henry.

Michael Staudinger grounds out, shortstop Kenny Corey to first baseman Pat McInerney. Evan Skoug to 2nd.

Lenyn Sosa grounds out, first baseman Pat McInerney to pitcher Brandon Woodruff. Evan Skoug to 3rd.

David Cronin walks.

Laz Rivera pops out to first baseman Pat McInerney.

AZL White Sox Top of the 3rd

Austin Crutcher doubles (3) on a fly ball to right fielder Robert Henry.

Pitching Change: Tyler Thorne replaces Brandon Woodruff.
