1. Zach Davies is trash. We will no doubt be trading for at least one start in the next couple of weeks.

2. Santana and Broxton are embarassing sometimes. 11 errors combined? Come on guys we just had the AS break...

It's getting harder to watch an outing like Davies had and not want to give his spot (or Guerra's) to Hader. Have to tell yourself that the pen needs all the help it can get, though fewer innings on the arm the past couple months could make a move easier since you won't be concerned about an innings limit in September.

Hader probably 4th, 5th in line to move into rotation. I doubt that's even on the Brewers radar for the rest of this year. As good as he's looked in the pen, he can't come out and throw 98 mph for 6 innings.

That second inning was amazing. Seeing Braun's exuberance after the HR was fantastic. They need to trade for more pitching though, to keep this run going. They aren't gonna score 8-9 runs every game....

When Shaw made two outs in the same inning tonight I think that it was the third time in the last couple of weeks that it has happened. Villar did it and I can't remember who the other player was.

Broxton did it against Baltimore. Struck out for the first out and struck out for the third out.

Crazy thing about the other two is that they made the first and second outs of the inning. Villar and Shaw made the first out, then eight straight got on, then they made the second out.

How many times have we hit a 3r HR and a Grand Slam in the same inning?

IIRC, two grand slams in one inning against Boston. Ironically Harvey's Wallbangers, given the weekend.
