A complete FWIW, but this random guy on Twitter says the Brewers are interested in Seth Lugo.

 

Whether or not there is interest or even mutual interest there is a "who knows?" at this point, but it does make some sense. Lugo is 27 and is controllable through at least 2022. He has excellent peripherals in the minors, and possibly the curveball with the best spin rate in baseball. He was injured this spring after the WBC, but appears to be healthy again and just got stuck back in the minors. That would make it appear the Mets do not value him maybe as highly as they should as their rotation is a mess at the moment.

He's started two games in the past week or so for the Mets and done pretty well. Doesn't seem stuck in the minors and it doesn't seem like a fit because we are okay with starters right now.
