I give up on Wily. He's a lost cause. Nice walk to put a runner in scoring position, Wily. And great clutch hitting tonight, Brewers. Maybe you can just count on the Cardinals and Cubs losing every game the rest of the season.

Pujols hits his 599 off Bartolo Colon, Albert was in high school when Colon made his MLB debut.

Speaking of Bartolo, Peralta is looking about as fat as him these days. Not even close to as effective however.

I gave up on him 2 or 3 years ago. Hopefully the Brewers do soon too. Although, if he'd go to St. Louis he'd end up winning the Cy Young award.

I give up on Wily.

Sounds like you gave up on him a long time ago.

About 30 seconds of looking through my post history would tell you that you're wrong about that.

I really thought this pen move had a chance to be a turning point in Wily's career. And you still have to give him more time. But so far he looks like the same guy, and frankly, I'm not sure he has the poise and confidence to handle high leverage situations.

They didnt even need clutch hitting, just clutch not strike out-ing

Just got beat 9-4 and 17-5 in a double header coaching. Turn on Uecker on my drive home to hear the Brewers get beat. What a day...
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Rattlers, Shuckers, and Sky Sox all got beat too. Mudcats were off, so at least there's that .

If it helps, the Cardinals lost again and the Cubs are down 4 to the Padres. At least we keep losing to professional baseball teams.

The Mets aren't exactly a great team this year but yes hopefully the Padres hold on.

I didn't think putting Peralta in that situation was a bad one. Going into extra innings, and Wily give you the chance to go 2-3 innings. He did very well the first inning, but they forgot to have Knebel rub the ball before Wily's second inning.

BTW, Knebel's was unreal with 3ks in the 10th. That last K where he dropped in a 3-2 curveball just buckled Duda's knees and fooled me on the TV too (I thought it was a high FB). Duda just rolled his eyes and walked back to the dugout. Wicked!
