At the very least Brewers have burned Montgomery for the rest of the series.

Good to hear. Augie keeps making it sound like it's the worst conditions he's ever seen.

Winds gusting to 20 mph plus 43 degrees plus light rain = really bad conditions.

I'm not saying it's not bad conditions, but more talking whether it's something they can end up playing through or if it's something that could cause this game to be called early.

If Sogard hits a dinger they can build a statue of him outside Miller Park.

edit: darnit

Kinda hate that Sogard went after the first pitch there. Montgomery just struggling to find the strike zone. Really bailed him out.

He clearly stopped juicing this morning.

Do umpires not do anything about Contreras' constant mound visits ? It's a little much.

That Ball 4 to Aguilar was in the exact same spot as Strike 1.

Contreras had to reach for it making it look like a ball. I don't blame the ump on that one.

I was surprised he didn't take at least one strike. He must have assumed with a couple of walks already, that the pitcher was just going to lob one in the middle of the strike zone.

Darnell Coles deserves a raise......the improvement in patience from our guys over the last few years is impressive.

Brewers were 2nd in the NL in walks last year. Not to dismiss Coles role in what the team is doing, but I also think it's a type of player that Stearns actively pursues.
