Turns out Freddie is dumb:

"Despite his complaints, Freeman has hit .391 with three home runs and six RBIs dating back just over two seasons in Milwaukee."

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

So far in this series Freeman is 5 of 13 with 2 home runs and a double.

We should make it darker in there when the Braves come in 2018. Maybe introduce a "glow baseball" .. like the bowling alley. Bill Veeck approved.

I agree with the lighting complaints. They aren't ideal, and they oftem seem dim. Fteddie can obviously function in minor league conditions, but its not dumb to point out substandard conditions. The ribbon boards can be annoying, but I bet specially for players. The fireworks are just hokey, and leave a smoke fog afterward when the roof is closed. The back windows have been complained about in day games.

I don't think he said anything that the team should be upset over. He's probably right, so if anything his statements may get the Brewer brass to look into getting better lighting.

As to the fireworks, I agree. I was at the game yesterday and my son and I were joking that it was strategic to shoot the fireworks off before the visiting team takes the field so they won't be able to see the ball when the Brewers hit it.

"The most successful (people) know that performance over the long haul is what counts. If you can seize the day, great. But never forget that there are days yet to come."

No they should do the exact opposite. The lighting is bad? GOOD! Freeman admitted it might give the Brewers some type of homefield advantage. GOOD!

Has anyone ever complained before? I can't remember any. I remember Matheny complaining about the ribbon boards while they were batting but that's it. And if the Cardinals haven't said anything, then you know Freddy is the only one who feels this way.

I recall several years ago, didn't some of the Brewers complain about the batter's eye? That was fixed, though.

Yes there was something about the batter's eye.

The reason why you can't remember anyone else is because there is no need to complain if the Cardinals already have, since the Cardinal Way™ is the only way

If the Brewers don't win the division I should be banned. However, they will.
