Hated the off day but I know those guys needed one. Hope they come out tonight and smack it around and set the tone for this series. Need at least 2!

Man, that was a close 3-2 pitch to Thames and he got the walk. It was probably a clear ball but thought it was close; would be sweet if he were already getting the benefit of doubt on close calls, lol.

Who has a list of free agent starting pitchers for next year? It seems to me that if we can add a couple of frontline starters to this offense, we may be competing sooner than anyone thought. Why not, we should have a ton of cash to spend, right?

 

EDIT: but of course, we'd need an overhaul of this putrid bullpen to have any shot at competing though...

Off the top of my head I know Arrieta and Cueto are the best available .
