Who is available to piggyback with Milone "just in case" Tommy can't get out of the 5th or 4th?

I'd rather just wait until Milone's arm figuratively falls off in that situation, but I would guess Marinez having not pitched in 4 days could probably go 3 innings.

Kind of like Capuano last year...

Yes, if the score is out of hand due to Milone, just let him pitch until his arm falls off his shoulder. Put him on the DL, let him collect his money and we can never speak of him again.

That line up tells you Counsell expects to lose.

Seems basically as expected except Franklin for Braun. I guess I would have preferred Aguilar at 1st and Thames in LF if Braun was going to get a day off, but oh well.

Seems like Aguilar has been pushed off to very limited action as of late. I would've liked to see:

Villar- 2B

Thames- LF

Santana- RF

Shaw- 3B

Aguilar- 1B

Bandy- C

Broxton- CF

Arcia- SS

Anyone know how long the rain delay is expected to be? Would love for this game to start towards the evening so I can get home and watch it.

Best window for getting the game in looks to be between 5pm-11pm. Mother Nature is of course unpredictable

This would be absolutely lovely if it occurs. Brewers game at 5pm and Blues game at 830. My night would be perfect! Unless they both lose of course.

Fine...we can have the Brewers win this one with the Blues losing tonight. Seems fair. :)

That's fine with me as long as the Blues win game 5. We gotta rest up for the Preds!

That's what really gets me going. The Blues and the Hawks were the 2 matchups that I thought were bad for the Wild, and it is now looking like the Preds are going to be moving on. Grr.

What is so exciting about what Thames and Shaw are doing, is that they're doing it on the road. There's no reason to think there guys won't mash at Miller Park too especially being lefties.

Agreed. Even if they struggle, we have the Babe Ruth of Miller Park on our bench that can carry us at home if need be.

I'm imagine Braun is off because it is a day game after a night game with bad conditions. Seems like a perfect day for him to take off. I wish they had rested Broxton instead of Santana though.

I don't know what the answer is with Broxton right now. You certainly don't give up on him, much too early, but he may need another few week stint in Colorado Springs to work on things a bit.

He's about to come up, maybe he'll give us a positive sign here...
