Ok, here are my 2 cents

Brewers Record: 69-93

Playoffs: No

Brewers MVP: Travis Shaw (Kent State product (go Flashes!) erupts as this seasons Villar)

Brewers CY Young: Jorge Lopez (in a bullpen role)

Brewers ROY: Jorge Lopez (in a bullpen role)

First player traded: Garza (Spring Training injury happens in another camp & Brewers are able to quickly strike a deal). Note: Braun does not get dealt. DS asking for too much & unwilling to pay more than $20 MM of remaining contract. Once full trade kicks it, its over).

Surprise player: Thames (transitions over much better then many hoped, produces solid but not eye-popping numbers)

Disappointing player: O. Arcia (more like Lindor- Lite Lite, ok D, BA in the .240 neighborhood)

World Series: '16 Rematch this time Tribe over Cubs

Brewers ROY: Josh Hader

First player traded: Chase Anderson

Surprise player(s): Whatever Catching tandem makes the team

Disappointing player: Orlando Arcia - Don't believe in the bat yet

World Series: Dodgers over Red Sox

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Brewers Record: 77-85

Playoffs: No

Brewers MVP: Braun (although if Broxton shows no ill effects from the injury early on, I'd probably switch)

Brewers Cy Young: Davies (Not sure if he'll be the team's best pitcher by season's end, but the cumulative body of work will be the best)

Brewers ROY: Hader

First player traded: Torres (For some reason I've got a feeling he gets dealt before the All-Star break)

Surprise player: Jungmann (brought up a month or two into the season and ends up excelling out of the bullpen)

Disappointing player: Shaw (not sure why I'm more skeptical about him than some of the risk/reward guys, but I am)

World Series: Nationals over the Red Sox

Brewers Record: 71-91

Playoffs: No

Brewers MVP: Arcia but not with very good offensive numbers.

Brewers CY Young: Davies

Brewers ROY: Someone in the bullpen

First player traded: Braun

Surprise player: Thames

Disappointing player: Guerra - if I've ever seen a year that screams fluke it is his. I expect closer to a 5 ERA than a 3.

Brewers Record: 72-90

Playoffs: No

Brewers MVP: Broxton

Brewers CY Young: I'll have to go with Jimmy Nelson. I have to think Guerra and Davies may have letdowns, and Nelson was by far our best until June last year. Maybe this is the year he finally shows it.

Brewers ROY: Forrest Snow

First player traded: Some reliever. I'll guess Torres

Surprise player: Thames

Disappointing player: Arcia

World Series: Red Sox over Cubs

Brewers Record: 70-92, offense produces but starting pitching continues to disappoint

Playoffs: No

Brewers MVP: Thames

Brewers CY Young: Davies

Brewers ROY: Hader

First player traded: Unless someone somehow offers more than a sack of baseballs for Garza - someone in the bullpen. Feliz.

Surprise player: Thames - .270+, .850-.900 OPS, 30 HR

Disappointing player: Shaw (side note: Maybe others know this already, but Baseball-Reference has his nickname listed as "Mayor of Ding Dong City." Hopefully I'm wrong on this and we can use this frequently)

World Series: Cubs over Indians, part II (barf)

I am not Shea Vucinich

World Series: Red Sox over Cubs for the most insufferable fan bases ever. I may not watch a single inning.

What about the Cardinals for insufferable fan bases though? Very tough to pick between those 3 but I think I put Cards before Cubs as worse.

I generally find the Cubs to be more insufferable as a fan base, but the Cardinals' team and players themselves to be more insufferable as a team.

Off the top of my head, I've found TLR, Matheny, Wainwright, Carpenter, Molina, and Pujols all to be completely insufferable. I'm probably missing others, but their 'holier than thou' attitude has long been one of the biggest jokes in baseball. I can't think of a single Cubs player over the last decade or so that I feel the same about.
