I enjoy Pizza Ranch's chicken more than their pizza.

Pizza Ranch is great if you enjoy instant diarrhea.

That could be said with many fast food spots.

I expect it from Taco Bell but pizza shouldn't do that to you.

I suggest you stay away from Marco's pizza then. ;)

It gets me every time lol!

Many pizza places, depending on the grease, put me on the toilet. Doesn't mean I won't keep eating some of those delicious pies.

People posting dumb things on twitter and then 'apologizing'. I am shocked colleges and employers don't look at this stuff before hiring/accepting these people.

Some do, I have a brother in law who hires for a LARGE company. One of the first things he does is go to social media to see what kind of person is applying.

A lot of resumes go straight to the garbage can based on what he has seen and read on candidates social media accounts.

It's a thing, even if young people want to believe they are bullet proof.

I assumed some did, I probably should have worded it differently. I am never surprised to find out such and such a person wrote ________ on twitter as a high school kid.

I know when I applied for my job 9 years ago or whatever it was, I deleted my facebook account. Haven't looked back.

What do these companies think about people that have no social media accounts. I don’t have twitter, Instagram, or any of the like. I just started a Facebook account only for family photos I can’t identify people. I don’t post anything on there though other than the photos. Just curious

Turn signals and people who don't use them and also all them old people who have had their turn signal on for the last 15 miles.

I had someone change lanes right in front of me without signaling this morning. Had to brake not to rear end him. Ironically he had a watch for motorcycles bumper sticker on his car.

There needs to be a King Thames version of the bible.

It's actually technically illegal to look this type of stuff up and factor it into hiring (well, at least according to my HR). But yea, it's not like it doesn't happen. For today's controversy with the QB, I don't know how you or your agent don't go back and clean this up months ago. He should have personally done this like two years ago once he knew he had a shot at being drafted. Really every college football/basketball player even remotely close to draft worthy should go back through everything well beforehand.

Yes, someone should have had him get rid of that stuff year's ago but we also need to stop caring about stupid stuff people did when they were teenagers. One thing I read about it made the great point that we, as a society, need to stop digging for every little fault to try and bring people down. This stuff has been out on the internet for years and it just coincidentally becomes a big story the day of the draft? Clearly, someone had the intent of harming his reputation and draft stock. Maybe it was an NFL team trying to get him to fall to them, but there was obviously malicious intent with putting this information out there.

Agreed jericho. Is a lot of social media stuff that gets people up in arms completely stupid, irresponsible, and/or ignorant on the part of whoever posted it? Absolutely. And it's a good reason to stay away from social media. But I wonder if the people who really care about this kind of stuff or get upset over it have ever taken a look in the mirror.

People make mistakes and do stupid things. So do I. I feel like life would be a lot easier if everyone just accepted that as a fact and moved on.

I don't care that he said it. I was making the social media point and saying how dumb some of these people are. Why post that kind of stuff on social media? Or some of these people that post these videos of themselves saying some really asinine stuff. Then it's always the same...Sorry? Well, of course you're sorry because ya look foolish.

This is spot on and what's wrong with the current 'gotcha' media stuff. [sarcasm]Brings back fond memories of that Braun thread a couple weeks ago here...[/sarcasm]

That's a fair point. There are surely some things that get overblown, but I think it's just too prevalent. Take that kid trying to ask his date out using the picking cotton phrase...why would you post that on social media? I would assume his life isn't going to be ruined by trying to make a joke, but I hope it's a lesson for that person.

I suppose my rant is more on social media as opposed to the dumb things people say on it, and maybe it's because it seems like everyone posts anything and everything.

Once it's out there, it's out there, and you live with the consequences.

Simple as that. Like all these stupid kids posting/texting the naked pics, sharing them to people they trust (their current boyfriend or girlfriend), only to get bit in the butt later, after they break up, or the boyfriend just can't resist sharing it to his buddies. Just plain stupidity.

Our society has increasingly lost any common sense that it once had. People are dumb and getting dumber.

There are some great things about social media, but people are not equipped to separate the good from the bad.

Watch the movie "Idiocracy" if you want to see what has happened and is going to happen in our future.

This has really been bothering me. Cubs fans already think we're little brother and stuff like this just adds fuel to the fire. It'd be one thing if we were the Reds and the season was lost and we were looking for ways to keep the fanbase engaged, but we're better than this.

Yeah, it's not a super low road they're taking, but I don't see value to fueling the fire further.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

That's pretty funny actually. Agree it's totally lame for the Brewers official account to be posting that but it's still pretty funny.

Yup, I wasn't necessarily responding to or talking about you directly. We both agree that social media is a trap that people foolishly continue to fall into.

People who agree to purchase something from you, setting up dates to meet, etc., only to have them back out on you. They are the ones that respond to craigslist, VarageSale, etc., yet they change their mind and don't bother telling you.

Just plain rude.
